Tatopani Hydropower Station (Nepali: à¤¤à¤¾à¤¤à¥‹à¤ªà¤¾à¤¨à¥€ à¤œà¤²à¤µà¤¿à¤¦à¥à¤¯à¥à¤¤ à¤†à¤¯à¥‹à¤œà¤¨à¤¾) is a run-of-river hydro-electric plant located in Annapurna Rural Municipality, Myagdi-4, Tatopani, Myagdi District of Nepal. The flow from Tatopani River is used to generate 2.0 MW electricity. The plant is owned and developed by Government owned company, the Nepal Electricity Authority. The plant started generating electricity since 22051-12-06 BS. The generation licence will expire in 2101-11-30 BS, after which the plant will be handed over to the government. The power station is connected to the national grid by 33 kV tranmission line. It is the first hydropower project of Myagdi district.
In 2016, the power plant was damaged extensively by flood.
In April 2020, the inlet valve brusted causing flooding of powerhouse.
